Automatic D-tranny Starter on a Manual D-tranny?

Automatic D-tranny Starter on a Manual D-tranny?
I got the Si tranny into my Hatch today, but I fucked up the starter so I gotta go to the pick n' pull tomorrow and get one.
I know you have to get a D-series one, but can I get one from an automatic d-series?
or does the starter HAVE to be from a manual D-series.
I searched but they all had "Maybe" answers... ugh.

When comparing parts, I go to San Leandro Honda's online parts site.
I did, and I compared autos to manuals..part numbers are different.
I assume they won't interchange, but I know little of d-series automatics!
