WTT: 1991 CRX w/built B16, SIR trans, Quaife, turbo, more!
I'd really like a swapped 4 door Civic but I'll entertain offers. I can either take trades plus cash for the rex or even trades or I can keep some of the stuff off the car to make the deal. Here's a little about it:
1991 CRX DX bluish/teal outside
Black interior with near showroom 91 CRX Si seats
Very nice CRX Si wheels with brand new Goodyear Eagle HP's (50 miles on them)
KYB AGX adjustable struts all around
Currently has a coil over setup on it but I also have some Eibach ProKit springs that can go with it.
Energy Suspension bushings in every suspension component
New front steering inner and outer tie rods
New ball joints
Pretty much everything in the whole suspension was replaced with new about 75 miles ago.
Neuspeed front sway bar
Place Racing front crossmember with EG half rad.
Engine:
Place Racing mounts
B16 just built has about 75 miles on it.
Head ported by DH Racing in California
Ported ITR intake mani from DH racing
Custom turbo log mani from DH racing
Custom DH racing turbo cams
JE forged pistons with approximately 9-1 compression
Eagle H beam rods
New Type R oil pump, water pump, timing belt
Bottom end balanced
Adjustable cam gears
Stock looking valve cover with just the end cut off for timing adjustment. From front looks stock.
Currently has stock B16 exhaust mani on it for break in.
Everything associated with the engine rebuild currently has 75 miles on it.
Trans:
Built SIR trans
New synchros and wear parts replaced
Quaife LSD
Clutchmasters stage 3 clutch. Kind of grabby but not too bad for daily driving.
New axles
Integra LS speedo drive so the cable doesn't get stretched
Turbo/exhaust:
3" mandrel bent exhaust with DynoMax Super Turbo muffler at back
T3/T4 turbo not yet installed
Spearco FMIC
2.5" charge piping
Blitz blowoff valve
Tial 35 mm wastegate with 11 psi spring
Hondata Stage 3 with boost/datalogging/3 step, etc.
RC 550 injectors
Misc:
Kenwood CD player and some sort of aftermarket speakers all around.
Battery relocated to rear of car in Moroso sheet aluminum battery box. Battery shut off on back bumper
Car is pretty nice. Just a tiny spot of rust on the driver side rear quarter panel. Not through, just blistering. Passenger side is solid. Clear is coming off of roof and C pillars. Car appears to never have been wrecked. Still has the factory cargo cover behind the seats in great shape. Factory floor mats still there and driver side only shows wear on the rubber "C R X" letters. No holes in the mats or nasty carpet on them.
Entertaining trades for a swapped 4 door Civic, interesting hatch, or other interesting car that's all motor. I want something that my wife and I can get in and go on a 750 mile round trip and be comfortable the whole way. There is no AC on this car so that is not really a comfortable driver on that long a trip.
