Default Quick question before I hassle with it.

I got a beater bike for a daily commute for a friend, its a 1982 Honda cb450 but the front master cylinder on the bike is gone. I have a beat up master cylinder from a 2001 ninja 250 at my uncles house that I am thinking about trying to put on the 450. They are about the same size best i can tell and both hook up to a brake line that runs strait down to the front brakes. So in theory it should work....

My question is do you think it will........

TIA
