Random missfire?
Ok im no noob when it comes to cars or anything but I just wanted some other peoples opinions.
Anyway, coming home from work today I was in kinda stop and go traffic, and I stopped at a light and all of a sudden my motor started to miss no cel or anything. Rev it up a bit and start to move and it goes away. Didn't come back at all the rest of the drive home, or tonight. I figure the car needs a tune up since it goes through gas quicker than it should, maybe like 25 or 26mpg. The motor runs great and pulls hard for a mostly stock b18a with 180k on it.
So I went out and got new plugs, rotor, and cap. The plug wires are nology and seem to be in fairly good shape, if the problem comes back they will be replaced next. Hopefully my shop will let me pull it into my bay during my lunch break.
Any other ideas and what would cause this?
