Default HELP!!! my zc soch is blown and i need to see........

i need to see if i rebuild a d16a6 motor i got laying around and use my ZC's pistons (cus i guess theyre high comp instead of the stock d16a6's) would it be the right dimensions and stuff. can i use the sc pistons with a d16a6 motor and a zc head, or what type of scramble would be best.

thank you in advance

p.s. i have to put the d16a6 cus it just got refereed and my motor blew a week later {i blew it on purpose cus i was pissed of,,,no oil..hehe) i have to put a d16a6 so i can be all legal but im gona do machine shop work on it like polishing, porting (i dont know what else to do to the internals other then that) so.....yeah}

the bottom end of the sohc zc (non vtec) is the same as the d16a6. the pistons are the same. the DOHC ZC pistons are higher compression, not SOHC.

you can use all the parts.

QUESTION? WHY WOULD YOU BLOW UP YOU'RE ENGINE IN THE FIRST PLACE, THATS PART OF THE REASON WHY YOU HAVE THIS DILEMMA, IS CUZ STUPIDITY OVERRODE ANY COMMON SENSE YOU MIGHT HAVE HAD, NO OIL???? IF YOU'RE ALREADY DOING A SWAP YOU COULD HAVE JUST YANKED THE EXISTING MOTOR AND SOLD IT AND MADE YOURSELF SOME MONEY AND GOT THE PORT AND POLISH................, BUT FOR LACK OF A BETTER WORD, THATS RETARDED.

i think you guys got it all wrong,, i blew the engine cus i got pissed off and didnt give a f##k no more. i have spent over 20000 in tickets and impounds in the las 2 yrs. i did some time already, and believe it or not, for fix it tickets,,,,well cus my student visa expired and i cant leave the country but cant get my residency cus im in the process,,, so everytime i geet pulled over (i.e.,,one lug nut missing on my rear tire) i get screwes with no vaseline. i got sick of it and let is go on purpose. and 250 for another engine aint s#it, i can get that in less then a days work. but yeah,, got my engine saved just need to pick it up tommorrow (d16a6) andi still need help. d16a6 w/ dohc zc pistons?? cus those are high comp but no one ever clarified if they are compatible (im worried about clearence with the doch zc head). the d16a6 im getting is running so if the power gain is too little, ill just leave the engine as is till i get my h22 in that puppy. or i can do it and then sell it to oe of you fine folks for more cus its modded ...hehe
