Spark Plug/Timing Problem!!
My 98 GSR has some problems regarding the spark plugs and the timing. A few months ago was when the problem first occured. One day I was driving to school and the car started bogging, and the car obviously felt weak because it was misfiring. I drove it home changed the spark plugs and the spark plug wires and apparently that did the job. Then about One month later the same problem occured. I was daily driving and the car started to bog again. Apparently my car was going through the same thing the first time, but this time it made some weird metal clinking sound, and I got worried. So the next day I checked the oil and found out it was low so I added more. After that, it started to drive fine. Then 2 months later the same problem occured. So I checked my spark plugs and cylinder 4 spark plugs got shot to the max. Before that it was cylinder One that had that problem. So I changed the spark plugs yesterday, it started to drive fine, then I pushed the car a little bit, then it started to fluctuate RPM at idle. and eventually I heard my spark plugs pop and it made the metal clinking sound again.
Everytime the problem occured the engine check light turns on and starts blinking and I got it evaluated once and it reads that the cylinders are misfiring.
Anybody has a clue of whats going on?
