I just swapped in an H22 into my 93 accord...my question is...

Ok...my car starts up fine in the morning, but in the afternoon it doesn't want to start at all. I don't have the knock sensor connected at the moment...cause I still need to get a connector to get the pin for it. could this be the reason why its not starting?

 

Knock sensor would not cause your car to do this. Is it doing anything else?

 

main relay?? perhaps but please list some other symptoms

 

I checked aroun more on the interent and I found a couple places saying that when the car is sitting for long periods of time in the sun...its a good chance its the main relay...if it doesnt start, so you guys could be correct...I'm gonna check this out tmrw.

but yeah the only symptoms are that in the more it starts up fine..when its nice and cold in the garage...but after sitting in the sun all day, it doesnt want to start...

 

sounds like I was right..hope that was the problem
