quick tranny question???? NEED HELP
i have a 1991 civic SI with a messed up transmission. I've been trying to look around for one but they only have mostly the DX transmission.
My question is that, Does the JDM ZC SOHC transmission bolt up to my car? Also when i called gspeedcorp.com, they said there is two kinds of d16a6 tranny that they have (correct me if im wrong) one with 20 "spline", and one with 21 "spline", i don't know what spline mean but, I NEED HELP PEOPLE! thanks in advance

1. this has already been covered ten thousand times.
2. if someone else wanted to use the search funtion that had the same question as you, they'd have a hell of a time finding itfrom your vague title.
3. what year is your car? if its an 88... buy a trans/clutch from an 88, if your car is an 89-91 buy from that.

lol i win the prize for buying the wrong clutch how ever many years ago
. I luckilly found a flywheel on my old engine that was a 94, which i ended up getting resurfaced, so I was only out $40 for resurfacing my 89 flywheel.
got lucky
