Default bent forks, frame... how to tell???

So I just bought a downed 03 r6 today about 2 hours after I found out it was for sale. My original plan was to grab another liter bike, but this was an awesome deal. My first thought was to fix it and sell it for profit since it has a clean title. But with what little I have in it, I wouldn't mind just keeping it. The only real damage is rash and a ding on the tank. But the thing I'm concerned about is, the windscreen doesn't line up with the bracket for it that attaches to the front top of the frame. As far as my eye can see, it's bent toward the left, just the bracket that is. I will upload a pic later. I have ridden it about 30 minutes and it rides fine to me. The frame looks strait and the forks seem to be strait. I want to know for sure though knowing it's been down. I don't wanna ride it with a tweaked frame or forks. Nor do I want to sell it after I dump money into fixing the fairings like that. I'd rather just sell it for what I have in it and let someone who knows what they're doing repair it. The yamaha shop says the best they can do is visually look it over. Maybe take some measurements. I'm going to roll it through some powder or flower on the ground and see if it tracks strait. Other than that, does anyone know of any shops around East TN that can put it on a machine, if that's possible? Or any other ways to tell? Any help to this jibberish explanation would be helpful.

The forks seem to be offset to the right side of the bike, left side lookin at the pic....? In a couple other pics of other r6's, they seemed to be slightly off as well, but couldn't really tell. They seem to be awfully close to the right lower fairing. Can anyone take a look at thiers and confirm?

Theres a crack here. Seems if I loosen the bolts and rotate the bracket down it will line up. Any reason this got pushed up? The crack is on the bracket, not the frame.

There are many reputable frame straightening places... they can set you up for sure. you can also use the string method for symmetry, but this is very raw data.

As a matter of fact, many top teams that are required to run OEM chassis send out the frame prior to building or rebuilding a race bike... a good framer can "Tweak" that bike in ways that benefit a teams particular rider, this is why at times when you see two riders on a team and one seems much faster than his teammate that may be having to ride the backup bike or his teammates bike when otherwise they should be about the same in as far as outright speed
