I have come acroos a 04 CBR 600 RR with 11k. But here is the problem.
Its not inspected & needs a few things.
It needs a new back tire.
The turn signals & break light dont work ever since the guy installed LED signals on it & he thinks the hookup is wrong. Guages work perfect.
The fairings need replaced & ebay has complete sets for $500. They have cracks from falling over in rdiveway. no roadrash.
My friend works at the yamaha dealer as a tech & says it should be an easy fix. what do you think ???
He was asking $4500.
So yesterday i saw it in person & it looks ok. In person he says he would take $4000 cash.
So I offer $3600 due to the fact it needs work. he says $3800. So I tell him my last offer is $3700 final offer, So he is thinking about it.

My main thing is that he says it needs a tire & working light to get inspected.
I just dont wanna get it & find other problems.

If it was me, I wouldn't buy it. Seems like a good price, but I think you may find "other" issues with the bike later on down the line though. Just my opinion.
A tire would run about $150 approx and the electrical issue is all about finding someone with a voltmeter that knows what they're doing. Can't be that hard. As for the other problems, have your buddy check it all out before purchasing it.

see if you can put in a 2 week clause or something that will protect you from eating major problems on the bike. As in you spilt the cost if their are more problems on the bike, that you find in the 2 weeks after you purchase the bike. So you're not stuck with a money pit for the bike...just a thought

wow....a warranty through a private sale?? Good luck on that!!
Like mentioned above, take it to a trusted mechanic, get it checked out, if its alright, then snag it.

good deal, but complete set of farings for $500? dont kid yourself. Whatever you think it costs to fix up, triple it and that'll be more accurate. Fairings in decent condition go for 1200 MINIMUM + shipping. All that other stuff, well if you know wiring you can probably do it yourself as long as you get the service manual. Rear tire+install should be about 250

i bought a bike that just needed a front tire.
now i'm well over $1000 into it in maintenece repairs.
granted it's a little older, but buyer beware.
if he takes the 3700, take it to a bike shop for a checkup FIRST before handing him the cash.
is that a stock paint color? if not there's always a chance it's been down.
