Default A few EF B18a TURBO questions/fitment issues.....

Ok, so I'm looking for a turbo and found a kit for sale locally....

T3 super 60 .48
evolution waste gate
xs bov
turbonetics cast manifold
all oil lines
spearco front mount
all intercooler piping
and couplers
dsm 450cc injectors
looking for $1200

It was on a d16 in an EF so I figured fitment/clearance (crossmember, radiator, etc) will be ok? I have an LS so I guess that would make a diff...

Anyways, I wouldn't need the manifold he's selling so what manifold do I go out an look for? (obviously b-series, but what trim/exhaust size?)

Oh, and I have an obd0 LS so I'd have to convert to obd1 correct? Could I just get the rywire conversion set-up and go with that? Thanks for the input and if you have other suggestions you'd like to make....go ahead.

why would you have to convert to obd1?? just stick with non obd and check out xenocron.com or http://www.turboedit.org obd0 rom editors are out there and are fully programmable. obd1 is not necessary right now..

hmmm...well I remember someone telling me I need to convert to obd1 if I go turbo. I guess they were wrong and frankly....I'm glad. Cool, now I'm really anxious for answers to my other questions so I can start buying the correct parts!

It's small, yes. However I don't need 300+ hp. I'm just looking to get 200+ to the wheels and I'll be happy breaking 13s. It will spool in the 3k range and I'm guessing maybe lose effectivness around redline, but I'll deal with it.

Does anybody have any answers as far as fitment goes?

1.I'm 99.99% sure that you will either have to modify or replace your crossmember for clearance.
2. You will need a T3 flanged manifold, very common. For a cast log look at the Blox, for stainless logs and tubulars try http://www.rcautoworks.com
3. There is no need to convert to OBD1
