Default rear disk swap into 90 hatch....are crx rear disks just as good as DA?

Gonna try to score some trailing arms/rear disks for my hatch tommorrow at the junkyards

There are more CRX's than tegs in the yards around me, if i can find a CRX with rear disks is that setup just as good/swappable as DA parts?

I know the ebrake setup is a little different, what all parts would i need to grab, just the cables?

Yes, they are the same except for the length of the e-brake cables. The 90-91 CRX Si e-brake cables are of course a perfect fit for yours.

jesus, just called advanced auto and napa, rebuilt calipers are 82 each plus core, thats a lot more than i was expecting...that makes this quite an expensive swap, till you get done buying the trailing arms from a junkyard, picking up new calipers/rotors/disks...possibly brake lines

Loaded trailing arms? I have never heard of the term. Why don't you just buy the complete rear disc swap?

Ahhh, you mean a complete set of rear disc brakes? Well that all depends on the place you buy them at, but usually within the $150-$200 range.

At that price, are they going to take them off?

No, the Si brakes are smaller. You want the EX brakes since they are bigger.

i'm not sure if they fit under 14's I have 15".

You need Comlete knuckle and hub assem. from an EX/DA minus UCA .

Use LCA from your car

Axels?
I have 90 teg but they are blown now.... I think I need Del Sol's I dont know, I need help too!!

i got mine at Ecology during their 50% off sale, it cost a little over $40 dollars which means regular price is in the neighborhood of $80-$90. if possible, try to find out when the next sale is if you have an Ecology junkyard near you. $40 is an awesome price!!! it included both trailing arm, rotors, calipers, and e-brake cables.

jesus...got quoted $250 and $300 from the two junkyards around here that had any (out of the 20 i called)

went to U-pull it place and found a teg w/ the rear brake setup intact.

unfortunately it wsa super rusty and i couldnt get 3 of the bolts off

left the yard with it half taken apart when it closed...not sure if its worth my time driving back to get the parts....seems like w/ that much rust i could have problems w/ the calipers/bleed valves
