noisy clutch spring???

'95 accord ex vtec,
heres the problem, everytime i step on the clutch i get a springy noise. My buddy says its my clutch spring, didn't even know i had one. Was wondering if its true and if it is how to fix. Thnx in advance!

is it a creaking type noise?
there is a spring on the clutch, it helps pull the pedal back to the top (the MC will only push it so far under its own power)
if its a creaking type squeak, mine does that too and it actually sounds like it comes from the slave cylinder.
anyways, just get under your dash and look at the spring, push the pedal with your hand and try to see if the noise is coming from there

i think you have to take out the clutch assembly. at toyota, some of the mechanics would lube the rocker arm as a courtesy before the customers could complain about the noisy clutch. i need to get mine done as well.
