i'm pretty sure you didnt have to take off the front bumper just to get to your head light bulbts. You just have to unplug the harness, then twist the bulb out of its location

That's what I do on my EJ. It's a tad cramped on the driver side, but doable nonetheless.

Yeah, I've had trouble a few times, try doing it to the new compact cars with K20s that you can't even reach in now-a-days.
But basically, for me.. the passenger side bulb can be easily changed for me, but the driver side, there's that fluid thing that gets in the way, i think it's the break fluid or something I forgot. You can just pull it up and leave it out and it'll be a little easier to change it, but still a little hard, I ended up taking off my bumper also to change bulbs.

that'd be the power steering resevoir I believe.
When i have to change the bulbs on corollas at work all you have to do is take the battery out and you have plenty of room.
Some manufacturers make it a Bitch to do even the littlest things.
Anybody put spark plugs in a v6 toyota.....

yeah i used to have a 2000 civic and the p/s resevoir would always get in the way.
what i did was pop the resevoir out of place while i was changing the bulb and pop it back into place when i was done........of course doing that didnt really free up any space and my hand still ended up getting all scratched up. but i'd rather have a scratched up hand than go to a dealership for a damn light bulb install.
