So I just got a JDM front on my DC and noticed the left cooling fan(from the outside) on the radiator, has no female connector from the actual wiring harness. I went to the junkyard, got the female connector to plug into the male plug, and spliced it onto the harness for the right cooling fan. I got both fans to run for like 2 seconds but once I tried to touch the wires to tuck them in neatly, I heard a little "sizzling" sound and BOTH fans shut off. I made sure every connectiong was secure, and waited for both fans to turn on again, but nothing. Before this incident my car was running on only one fan. Any suggestions?
