Default Interesting question about GC coilovers...

I currently have a set of Neuspeed race springs on my car, I love the ride height. If I bought a set of Ground Control coilovers and set my car to the same height that the Neuspeed's were sitting, would there be a difference in ride quality/handling? Thanks.

maybe because of the of the stiffness between the two.

of course they are two different springs so they will be diff. with GC (if you dont know by now) you can order custom rates for teh sprins so you can order the coilover to be stiffer than the race or you can order it to be the same as the race. diff between race and GC is that the GC are semi progressive rate and the race are Progressive rate springs.

so the progressive rate is the best for ride quality right?

i think the GC are linear spring rates actually.... as for spring rates....progressive gets stiffer as you compress it more, so that the more you corner the more they stiffen up. This gives you decent ride quality on a daily driven car. However you'll get a lil leeway on hard cornering, and you'll have to get use to it. With linear you get instant feed back when you corner

depends on the spring rates among other things
