Default How to preserve momo/spoon/sparco/nardi/jdm steering wheels

My leather gsr steering wheel is going to CRAP......fading....flaking...peeling...leather going.....I have had this car for about 3 yrs and I have taken care of everything on my car and use leather treatment on the seats and steering wheel at least once every 2 wks...more during the summer....but the FL sun is brutual......so I have a spoon steering wheel but been hestiate to but it on because of the ( horn issue I'm having with the new nrg slim hub and q/r which I have read threads on how but nothing about hte new version...which supposly is easier to install with no horn issues ) and since it is also leather wrap and red stiched I dont want to ruin it by sweating/dirty hands...sun damage and so on....which I already know how the flaming going to start........take off the wheel while not driving...wash hands...blah blah..................here is my thing .....I WANT TO PRESERVE IT....and since its a smaller dia wheel no trad wheel cover will fit...so I am wondering what people do to preserve theirs in a daily drving enviroment

Hes right

But honestly, your question is kind of stupid. Thats like wondering how to keep your shoes preserved. Its just something thats gonna get warn out, no matter how hard you try. If you want it to stay clean dont put it on
