ok are the USDM EK hatches the same as the
JDM EK9 in the sense that everything is innterchangable?

cuz i see everyone puting type r hatch **** on usdm hatches. i just got into the ek9 a few weeks ago so im wondering?

if someone could help me out with some info thatd be straight

well then why not buy an ek9 import it to the states
swap it all to ob2 and everything u need to register it
or just sway everything onto a usdm hatch? seems simple enough because you wouldnt
need to provide any crash test data in the sense that its the excate same car expect
lhd and rhd crap. obiovusly engine swap issue but then can be delt with and
with everything like autos in japan being cheap fly over there pick one up ship it back through customs and deal with it there or just smuggle it in lol

 

It's not easy as it sounds. Oh, the rebar for the EK9 is a toothpick compared to the USDM hatches.
