Default Autometer Pills

I am looking to find either a 5000 or 5500 Autometer Pill. If any of you who have installed a tach have one, let me know, will buy it off ya. It can be off a tach or a shift light. My freind needs one for his RPM activated switch for VTEC. thanks.

Default Re: Autometer Pills (CimorelliCRX)

did you know that if your friend had an ECU controlled VTEC crossover, his car would be faster? When you use an RPM activated switch you are getting VTEC only. When the ECU controls it, there are also different spark/fuel maps that take over when the VTEC engauges. Why is he using an RPM switch? When I first did my B16A swap I used one because I had an O2 sensor problem that wouldn't allow VTEC engaugement. When I fixed the problem and got rid of the RPM switch, I noriced a cosiderable difference.

my opinion, save the pills for the shift lights, lol

He just bought the car from a guy for 2200 with Intake, Header, exhaust, underdrive pulley... He is gonna do the wiring later on but for now he wants to get the RPM activated switch working.
