Are Sway Bars and Strut Tower Bar out yet?
All, I have been looking to see if there are any worth buying on the market, but I cannot find any. Have any of you been looking for the same thing?
the front upper strut makes me wonder, cuz part of the rain gutter thingy beneath the windshields pretty much connects to the strut towers..
it makes me wonder if they'll even come out with one or if it's possible. . :shrugs:

Progress has a 22mm rear sway bar, tanabe has the front under brace. I've seen nothing for up top yet, but Tein/Carbing is working on an upper front tower bar. (click)
I took my Si for a runb in the mountains last night. Best night of driving in a while. Ran into a few nice cars up there too. Evo, S2k, ITR... I don't know how hard they were trying, but they couldn't catch me going up or down. It was sweet. Next upgrade is going to have to be bigger, better brakes.

From the pics off tein's websites looks like there going to make one. Its going to be a tight fit. When I took my sturts off there was very little room under there. You had the take off a piece under the wiper just to get at the tower bolts. As far as the progress rear sway bar and tanabe under brace, I got good results with them. I put both on at the same time so I am not sure which part made more of difference. With both of them the car defintly handles like its on rails. The car is more willing to dive into a corner at high speeds and the back end is a lot tighter.

TRUTH!
I'm rockin Tein Super Streets with the sway bar and underbrace. The only thing slowing me down is the shitty tires. I've had my advans in my kitchen for 3 months waiting for my wheels to come.

Thanks for the info.
Sweet, I was wondering if the FG2 could keep up with those cars. No kidding, I wouldn't want to go flying off a mountain either. Can never have enough breaking power.

Thinking about this more, I got short ram on my old LX coupe, the front tower would not fit. I bet you have to have CAI on the Si to make it fit. The short rams would block it too for this model.

Odds are they were giving you room for error. If I didn't know you and just saw you in a Canyon, I wouldn't stay too close. Plus lets them get some bursts of speed on some corners. Then again, maybe they didn't know how to drive.
It's amazing when you feel in sync with another driver. My best friend and I could do a canyon bumper to bumper knowing when the other would brake or turn in.. same lines.. amazing fun. I miss it.

Just keep sight of your friends tail lights. That will at least give you a little more perspective of where the road is. Just hope he did not go off the road if there is no visibility. Careful out there.
