im planning on gettin a b16....but prices and power are wat makin me undecided...

theres a b16b..for 3800 with 185hp

and a b16a with 170hp for 2050

and a b16a with 170hp for 1450

If you are going to get the B16B you should just get the B18C (GSR or ITR) you'll be happier you did and you can get more power later on.

 

best bang for buck swap wise is the B18c *gsr* B16b is a destroked b18c *ITR* mostly.

How much you have to spend how much work you want to put into the motor and your goals all effect what you'll do best with.

B16 is a good plate form, and cheap, but if your willing to spend a little more then definately get the gsr, or ITR.

My vote goes the GSR, too. Best all around B-Series motor.

which engine is better to get...the GSR or ITR B18c

 

if your going to build the motor and turbo, you might as well get a gsr. if your just going to do bolt ond=s go with the type r. spendy but its your money. or you can make a poor mans type r

 

get the gsr if your gonna ever turbo...but get the itr if your just gonna do the boltons and not used forced induction

Go to a junk yard get an ls motor out of an integra and get an ls transmission rebuild the motor and boost and you will be set
