Default HIDs in foGlights...

i have a 97 prelude... and i have some JDm foglights...

now i was wondering... would it be a good idea to put some HIDs in there? if ever yes, how much fabbing would i have to do to the housing to make the bulb fit? would the HIDs improve visibility alot compared to the sotck halogen ones that came with it?

i know the JDM one comes with e H3c bulb size, is there any H3c HIDs out there? or will i just really have no other choice than going with the H3 size instead and just getting the adaptor...

any help and info would be greatly appreciated... TIA!

I had the same idea, and was thinking just to use the plug'n'play kits.

I made mine my self. And its not a easy task. i got about 29-30 hours into my foglights.. alot of fabrication and screwing up to get it where i wanted it.

It all depends on what you wanted.

projector foglights. then you gotta buy projectors. HID equipment then pay for labor and fabrication cost

Why not just buy a plug and play kit and call it a day? Since they are fogs cutoff should not be as much of an issue anyways.

i know... im not worried about the cutoff and all that...

im just wondering cause im not completely sure if the HIDs will fit in the JDM foglight housing... and may have to do some fabbing to make it fit...

regardless if its in fogs or headlights.. it will still produce a large amount of glare and that is not safe at all for other drivers on the road

None... get a PLUG AND PLAY kit

If a H3 bulb fits in the housing then an H3 HID bulb will fit also.
