Default fast tail light help!

Ok right now I have my 92 ludes tail lights in the oven. Im trying to remove the lens from the housing to pop out the amber part. I dont have any backup tails and I really dont feel like cracking these. any one have any other tips to separating the two parts other than using a straitblade?

Perhaps you shoulda done some searching before you started this instead of waiting till they were in the oven before you decided to ask for help. Had you have looked you would've found that there are quite a few step by step walkthru's on how to do this.....

I am I fuking idiot, but I learned my lesson...dont cook car parts in your oven for long periods of time. Now I guess Ill have to buy new Euro styled tails. I am angry...

holy crap lol....

haha you def cant leave them in any longer than 3 or 4 minutes... and if you do they are a "pain in the hand" to work with!, and dont use a strait blade to seperate them... use something wide and not sharp... like the biggest flat head u have, then insert pennies to hold everything apart as u work your way around.

ahhh, I feel a little bit better about the whole thing now. Atleast I'm getting new aftermarket tails. Only thing that sucks it that I cant find these lights anywhere other than ebay. Let me know what you gus think and dont say "I think you should'nt have melted your OEM ones" cuz I know there are a lot of you who would like to
