Will 16"*6.5" Mazda Millenia S, 55 mm offset, with 215-45-16 hoosier tires work
I have the opportunity of getting some Millenia S wheels with hoosier Autocross tires.
The specs are:
16 x 6.5" stock wheels from mazda millenia s
5 x 114.3 mm bolt pattern, 55 mm offset
The tires are:
215/45/16 hoosier racing tires (the autocross compound)
They were previously used on a Prelude Type SH. I would be putting them on an ITR suspension equipped 1994 civic with 11.8" RL front brakes (need 16" wheels)
Please let me know if these wheels/tires would fit.
Here are pictures of the brakes/current wheels (205-45-16 tires)

Thanks opie, Unfortunately, i would need to go back to 11.1" brakes for the factory ITR wheels to clear.
I am tempted thought so shoot me a PM with the price, and I'll see if it's worth going back to the stock brake size...
Any one else know if the 215/45/16, with the millenia wheels would fit?
Thanks.

That tire size will work. I just don't know if that positions the tires where they can clear the wheel wells, or whether the spokes will clear the calipers (although I think other folks have used Mazda Millenia wheels successfully, so I think the answer to both questions is yes).
Is the center bore on the Mazda wheels 64 mm?

I'm most concerned with rubbing on the control arm and wheelwells due to wide tire and 55mm offset...

Raging Angel said to me that he is concerned about rubbing issues due to the 55mm offset. Included with his statement was the fact that he was running spoon calipers on the front, which hit, but out back was very close with a 50mm offset wheel that he was using...
Conclusion is that you may run into some problems but a spacer may do the trick.
