valve adjustment ?
would the need for a valve adjustment cuase a loss in power ? i started hear this tick and it got louder then i noticed some power loss. but that might juts be in my head.
I don't recall how often you need to adjust them but I don't think you'll notice a change in power. Sounds like it might be time to have it done. I didn't have the right tools to do it and my local dealer only charges $70 so I just brought it in.
honda recommends you do a valve adjustment about every 30k. Im not to sure if you will really NOTICE any power lose but your gas economy will definitely be effected. just get the valve adjustment and you'll be coool
You will notice a difference if your valves are not set right your combustion is off and may lead to detination.. Its a simple task that you rarley have to do.. typically every time you do a major tune up you go ahead and do a valve lash adj.
