Just wondering if anyone knows what size the injectors are in a 99 and up Prelude??

 

290cc high resistance.

 

I thought they were 320cc? Or does the size matter on what type of model the motor is from. For example, a regular Vtec Prelude or an SH Prelude??

1997 and up are all 290cc high resistance. There is no difference between SH and base models.

OBD1 models with H22a1 have 320cc low resistance injectors.

Anyone know when they're going to fix the search?

 

Does that mean, that 99injectors prelude will not fit with my stock clip ? (i have a gsr 95 obd1) ?

thats what i want to know as well!

also do you know since the 95 H22a1 are 320cc................ the max stock honda ecu can control is 310cc from what i have reasearched. anything larger than you would need an AFC to get it to idle....correct?

 

many people have had their obd1 vtec injectors flow tested at 345cc by rc, if you don't belive me email them

 

I had my 94 vtec injectors flow tested and they tested at 343cc

 

The 92-95(96?) H22A injectors are rated at 310cc in the service manual. However, as several people pointed out, they flow closer to 340cc to 350cc in reality. They are peak and hold injectors.

The 97+ H22A injectors are rated at 290cc in the service manual. They are saturated injectors. I have never seen flow test result data from them, but I would wager that they also flow higher than they are rated, though probably not nearly as much as the earlier peak and hold injectors.

Mine were flowtested by RC at 340-345cc. 80% 43psi.
