Default Nippon pistons type S for H22A any experiences???good???FRM compatible???

I saw a set and said they were OEM TYPE S std bore 11-1 comp. Are they as good as OEM pistons or? and are they compatible with the FRM cylinders like the OEM replacement type s pistons are??? any help and experience would be much appreciated...I saw a set going for cheap with hasting rings...

They are probably just about the same exact thing. A company called "Nippon" makes OEM parts for Honda, however, I don't know for sure if the Nippon you're referring to is the same "Nippon" that Honda has contracted for various OEM parts.

Nippon is a HUGE company and one of their buisnesses is oem parts supplier, Honda being one of their customers. Nippon most likely was the oe piston supplier for the H motor.

They said there from a Japan Co. called Nippon Pistons and say they are superiopr performance to honda OEM...

what coating are you referring to? I ahve never seen a special coating on prelude pistons, including the set of type-s ones i have right here.

yeah, ive heard that the nippon pistons are the only ones they consider oem. some **** called "kicker" coating? i would definately ask the seller. get it in writing that they are FRM compatible.

Yes this piston are Nippon Pistons made in japan for Honda, This pistons work with any H22 or H23 Honda Motors. Please be advice that the FRM Coating in early H22 can not be hone or bore.
