distributor problems
so my distributor has been acting up since i bought the car, most the of the time it starts, but other times, i have to turn the key atleast 5 times. my brother told me autozone tests distributors so i went there they took it apart, tested what they could test, and then told me absolutely nothing. so i bought a cap and rotor anyways, i put that on and now it doesnt have any spark. anything else? they mightve also wired up the ignition module or whatever the thing is with 4 wires going into it wrong does anyone have a picture? i have a 90 dx distributor.

When you're distributor was off try spinning the rotor.. see if it spins nice and freely or resistant and rough.
BTW I had the same problem you had. Clicking 5 times and then starting. Check either your main relay or your starter. It was both for me and now she starts up fine.
