i got work in 20 min and i need a car to go work

my car has code 8, i hear its bad to drive cuz my timing might be messed up, but i havent had time to check, it can also be a wire or distributor, it starts n **** but damn i need to go work in 20 min and i have no car, **** now i got 19 min... would it be koo if i drive it? its like only 10 miles
