Default comp ratio

what is a compression ratio? and like is it better to have a higher one lower one?? and what are like some examples of avrage motors and like modded ones.....so i can compare....plz help

Compression has to do with what you are going to do with your car. Forced induction motors typically have a low compression ratio where NA motors have high compression to make the power. It is all in what you want to do.
