Hi, im hoping you guys at HT can help me, iv bought this item thinking it will go straight into my EG like most of you on here have experienced, The first plug went straight in the big one (i think Temp and Fuel) But the lead and plug on my UK eg is totally different to the socket on the SIR clock.

Do i need to chop wires or am i missing something?

what are those plugs wired to?

 

The Yellow socket looks like your SRS... JDM is non SRS.... so, don't plug it !

 

EG6, EG9 or EJ1 ????

 

My cars an EG4 and the car its from is an Eg9 i think, has a pic on the rev counter of four doors!

 

yep that would explain the yellow one as theres empty space where that is and the green one i think is wired too the picture of the picture of the car illustrating doors. Ill try and set it up tommorrow, im hoping i wont be asking anymore questions :D

 

Yellow is for SRS. The green is for the door ajar and trunk ajar icons. But your 10-pin and 13-pin plug should have plugged right in. The cluster will work without the ajar lights.
