How to find somewhere to mount tires.
How do you guys go about finding somewhere to mount your tires? Expecially since falkins are soo stiff.
Is there certain machinery that the shop should have thats better?
thanks

The NSX guys recommend NTB and discount tire, and if you can't find one of those locally, look for a shop that has a Hunter GSP9700.

NTB wanted to charge me $37.50/wheel wheel for mounting and balancing 215/45/17 Potenza S-03s on my new wheels. I ended up going to another local tire store chain where they charged $19.95/wheel. They did not have problems mounting them. And the S03s also have REALLY stiff sidewalls too.

I take mine to the local acura dealer, 12.50 a wheel. This is the only place I take my car to do this sort of thing because if NTB scratches your wheel you will have to go throught 10 teirs of hell to get any satisfaction, but I tell the acura dealer, if you scratch my wheel, its your *** and they fully understand, so its a known thing, if you scratch my wheel, your gonna repaint all 4. Not a scratch on them yet.
