just like title says. im wondering if these things really work

heet? i failed smog today and so i changed my cat converter and hoping to pass tomorrow. any tips?

It worked for my friend's ghetto civic. I would recommend changing your plugs and getting an oil change if you failed because of HCO or NOx. Then again, you might need a valve job or some other serious work done. Failing emissions is never a good sign.
