Ok the car is kinda weird... it has a sweet *** engine bay, with a clean as can be b16a2 motorswap, and lots of bolt ons:
-AEM Cold Air Intake

The car looks to have been white at some time (The engine bay is white and there is marks of white paint where the current paint has "disappeared"), the guy says it definitely needs a paint job and there is a little rust on the panel on the sunroof. He apparently tried to do his own paintjob and totally f**ked it up. To me the car looks pretty good condition, he got the car from San Diego, CA, so I don't think the rust if any will be to bad. I don't really want the car to rice out, I just want a snappy little honda, and I love CRX's

So what do you guys think? -or-

 

You'll be very lucky to find a CRX sans rust, that's just a given. I would try to talk him down a little over the paint. Otherwise it doesn't sound all that bad to me, even though I'm not the biggest fan of B series engines.

The original price of the car was $3800. I talked him down to $3200. I will post pictures of the CRX if I end up purchasing it tomorrow.

 

dude i payed close to that for a 60 hp 4 speed d15b honda.... i would definatly get that, i wouldnt even care about the paint bs, all im worried about is whats under the hood

 

 

if it runs good.... i'd buy it.


as long as new paint is all it will take to make it clean. its worth it.

 

OK So we purchased the CRX....and boy let me tell ya...that car is FAST! Its mad fun too. I did say I would add some pictures and I will keep my promise.

Now she needs a bit of exterior work and very, very minor interior work. All easy fixes though .

The car is fun as hell to drive. SHE MOVES! Nothing like driving a Honda and knowing that your driving a swaped Honda motor .
