Default New project Just picked a 1991 CRX SI

So i sold my Del sol sir before the summer and i wanted to work on, so I bought my favorite honda of all time. I must say the body on this car is pretty good. Its hard as hell to find a CRX in Buffalo NY with out rusted out rear Qt's. This car came from AZ. so the body is Honda Cancer free. I plan on putting it back to stock, with maybe a nice front lip and some nice 15" rims. I think im gonna paint it black, but i do like the factory teal color. The car cake with tokico struts, and a 98 D16y7 motor with 50,XXX miles on it. Interior is a little beat but thats ok. Here are some pics.

That line on the drivers side quarter looks like a bondo line or a scratch?

Its all metal, the person who had it before had two racing stripes and chrome wheel well caps or what ever they are. No bondo on this car. Should be a good project.

$700, Not a bad price at all, consider the struts and motor alone, and you cannot find a used CRX in NY without somekind of ROT.

My input is to paint it back to the original color. We already have a ton of Black CRX's.

dude, that black on teal color is NASTY! Either paint it back to original color, or have it painted the right way any color you choose, in the mean time, dont open your door or hood in daylight Other than that, great find for a great price, gl.

are you kidding me? Did you look between the doors? LOL, no seriously, I am not bashing the vehicle itself, just the primer job, seriously, that's hideous, contrast wise, that teal with black, anyway, I'm done, before someone takes it the wrong way, it's still a good shell you know? The swap looks clean, from what I could tell, so yeah.

Ya, I have a **** load of sanding to do. The kid that had it before me used it as a DD, there was racing stripes down the middle of it and everybody wanted to race him, so he flat blacked it. Oh well should be fun sanding.
