Default h23 catch can setup

I have a h23 with drag kit and looking for some pictures/advice on a crankcase ventillation/catch can setup on similar motor(I have searched forced induction threads and have come up more confused than before). I have my valvecover powder coated, so having fittings welded to it is not an option.

Search for threads in the forced induction forum by user 'dasher'. There is not any better info anywhere else on this site.

You can use basic info for H22s, B-series and D-series to do your catch can setup, there's nothing special about an H23 as far as catch cans are concerned...

Should be easy to mount. I put mine on top of the thermostat housing.

Is this install on a b16 same as on my h23? I got some good info from dashers thread, but found the above to be very straightforward and informative on the installation process. My first question is if the endyn can comes with all the necessary hardware seen in this install. From what I have seen, most HT users like the system.

Secondly, I do not want to use a sealed system with a vaccum source due to contamination reasons. I am going to use the breather method, but then saw many users saying that they had probs with soaked breathers and smell of oil in engine bay. Would it be beneficial to run a hose from the top of the catchcan(where breather normally goes) to bottom of car and then put a breather filter there? Would this cause some sort of air flow restriction and would this even be beneficial? Thanks.

Here's a pick of mine going throught the normal pcv route. This is called the "condensator" (google it) and uses a catalyst to separate out all the heavy oils, etc so nothing nasty gets into the IM. The breather (in place of the line going to the intake) does eventually get wet with oil and would be worse with a turbo so you might want to consider a cheap catch can there as well. The majority should come out from the pcv line to the IM though so I'd put a bigger one there.
