for 65k yup you better be keeping it for ages.....i would be afraid of riding it not because of the 200hp but afraid of dropping it. could you imagine the repair costs to the bike.....

Must be worth it to some since they sold out extremely quickly. First option to buy went to those with 999R's; people were buying 999R's just to grab the desmosidici or however its spelled.

I'd be afraid to ride it because it's worth so much and it's a collection item. My bike has 180 hp stock, so it's not that bad, i am sure i can handle it. I wish money wasn't an issue or else i'd have one right now.

Ducati is not a charity, they can't afford to spend millions of dollars developing something then give it away. You don't see Ferrari selling Enzo's for $25k do you?
