Default Valve Cover HELP.......... :)

Today I want to paint my valve cover red. This is what I need help on.

When I take it off, what are the torque specs on the bolts when I put it back on and whats the order I put the bolts/nuts back in? Is there anything I need to remember when taking it off and putting it back on? I dont want to mess anything up.

Thanks for the help and your time in advance

theres nothing u need to remember except for the firing order for the wires that u have and when u put them back together make sure that u only hand tight those nuts...if u do it too tight u will break them...hope this helps...

yeah…don't use a torque wrench. It is pretty inaccurate for the small amount you'll be torquing them down.....I used a torque wrench a long time ago and broke off a stud...which is easy to replace...but still a pita. Just tighten them down using a criss cross pattern….and do it till they feel snug….oh yea…don’t forget to use Honda-Bond on the valve cover gasket on the 8 or so spots.

if you are going to reuse the original gasket then lighten it like 5ft/lbs less than what factory specs say. if you are get a new seal, then just torque it down to factory specs... if youre gonna guesstimate it, then only do it hand tight

yeah dont do it too tight. those nuts break the studs off easily. hand tight. one hand... not two.
