Sorry if this doesnt belong here i just thought you guys would know the most about c5's. Well i came across a b18c5 block and it includes the crank,rods,GSR water pump, GSR oil pump, basicly everything but the pistons, and head is not included. Seller wants $500 USD for it. Now i was just wondering if this is the right price range?

 

So for a basic shortblock he wants $500? Does it include a paper trail? Where did it come from? What crank and rods in it?

 

yeah it includes a paper trail its coming out of his R it has itr rods and crank

 

id say thats a fair price

Hell, in that case see if he has 2. For $500, that's a great price with all of the correct paper trail. I say go for it, or if you don't...PM me his number. I'll take it at that price.

 

yea sounds stolen to me but if he can provide proof that the block is not stolen then i would buy for $500. But even if he can prove its actually out of his car, there must be something majorly wrong with it for that price
