Question about the 00-01 ECU

Question about the 00-01 ECU
Im about to turbo a friends s2k...ive turboed countless b series engines, so i know most of the tricks, but my concern for this application is tuning. I know 00-01 should be obd2b, so it dawns on me to ask, is it possible to go with a chipped ecu for these cars? (Conversion harness obd2b to obd1 and a chipped and socketed p28).. I would assume its doable but i have my doubts because the s2k is a little different with its digital cluster etc, so that generic obd2b to obd1 conversion harness might not accomodate that. Anyone please let me know, thanks

sorry but no that won't work. it it would, damn near all FI s2k's would be running Crome or something
