I have been recently working on my Teg, re-upholstering my door panels, installing a new passenger fender liner that was ripped, and taking off my old Bumper that has a couple of cracks in it. I bought a Mugen half Bumper used mint condition for 150 dollars already isntalled on a 96 front bumper (gorgeous btw) and the same colour as my car, Milano red.. what luck. The problem is that my front bumper is a 2000 and my corner lenses dont fit. I was doing some research and I think the corner lenses from 94-97 are different than from 98+. Th real problem is that the brackets in the back that hold the lenses in place are also different. Do i have to go to the dealership to get those brackets or what?

Do your 98+ lights even fit in the 94-97 bumper?
You could always sell you complete front end, to get the rest of the 94-97 front.

 

I just called Acura here in Toronto and i tried to get the part number for the 94-97 bracket for the corner lense and got it(71144ST7000). The part that got me confused was when i asked him to see if the 98+ was different from the 94-97 to verify that all was good. Turns out he tells me they are identical...errrr what a help he was. Im gonan go type that part # in at Acura247.com and see what happens, thx .brian. for the website.

 

the part number for corner lens (turn signal) brackets for 98-01 are the following:

33310-ST7-010 Rightside.
33315-ST7-010 Leftside.

(i know this is not what you are looking for, i am looking for the part number for the 94-97 as we speak)

i looked up the part number you were given, and it is saying "seal, right front"

edit: ok, i am looking now, and found:

33310-ST7-000 BRACKET, R. FR.
33315-ST7-000 BRACKET, L. FR.

so it may be the same part number? i am almost 100% certain that brackets are different. if you do a search for people who have converted from 94-97 to 98-01, the list of parts includes bumper, headlights, turn signals, and turn signal brackets.

i do not know why the part number is coming up the same.

 

I appreciate the effort .brian. couldnt ask for more. Its just too bad i forgot my Team-integra.net password and cant get into the forums. They dont send me an email with my login info when i ask them too, bastards are slacking. Im gonna try a different approach with a new topic(something like "Those who converted from 98+ to 94-97 bumper")we'll see what happens, hope i get some success.

 

before you create new thread, let me post some links for you to prove that i am not the only one who thinks the brackets are different. give me a second.
