kcjohnnyboy: It was cake work just time consuming.
droppedcrxsi: In that loom is the 2 wires for your master cylinder. and a wire for my remote start.

It's only a matter of time before you remote start that thing into something. I've seen it done before. A friend remote started his Si in reverse into a tree and did a good bit of damage.

We need a not-so-close-up shot. Stand back and take a picture of the whole bay, maybe stand on a chair in front of it and get a pic looking down so we get the idea. Not just sections of the bay.

I agree, as far as the catch can i think it looks fine where its at, but a better picture (one with the whole bay pictured) I could give you a better answer. Looks good though

huh? They make remote start for all cars if you wanna install it. I installed it on mine and the only problem I've had is when the smog ref drove my car and I remote started it in the parking lot.

The point is if you leave the car in gear and remote start it without disengaging the clucth it will jump, usually into a large stationary object causing damage to the vehicle.

Well if you personally do the wire tuck you know where every wire is so you will know where to isolate and find the problem. Weather my wiring and fuse box is under my hood are behind my dash are inside my fender its still serving same purpose.

If anything, having the wiring running through the frame rail is easier to access. It simply exits the body (through the already existing hole for the door wiring) and runs through the frame rail to the head/corner/bumper lights. It's not exposed to as much heat and it isn't twisting/turning through the engine bay causing a mess.

True. Despite some of the common criticism, it is quite functional. You can change your fuses from the driver seat. Besides, who likes a cluttered engine bay?
