Hey guys im picking up a N1 pretty soon and my civic has a integra dash swap- from what ive seen its going to hit unless i move the unit out an inch or so- I dont want it to look like that. What im thinking about doing is removing my ashtray, cig lighter and making a custom plate that goes over that whole area up to the climate control, and fiberglassing in a din from a dash kit on the bottom so i can see the screen better, along with putting in a dash tray up top to hold stuff- Anybody ever do this? If so got some pics? input on materials ect? thanks in advance

Flipping the kit will work with some units, but not all of them.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by vestalfootball72 »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Hey guys im picking up a N1 pretty soon and my civic has a integra dash swap- from what ive seen its going to hit unless i move the unit out an inch or so- I dont want it to look like that. We have custom installed more then a few in the vents above the heater controls, [g3 Integra] also a fair amount of custom work.

Ive seen the airvents and it looks great, but its way to high for me, and i would prefer to retain all of the air circulation- I think im just going to flip the dash kit and throw it in tomarow-
If you're going to cut and remove stuff, you should probably get a double din. I've never liked flip outs personally.
