Axles? I hear a lot of people are running Gator axles, but I have no personal experience. You may want to search under that.

"light weight" driveshafts are for rear wheel drive applications.

I'm not sure of the brand but a freind of mine has ordered some uprated axles for his B18C1 turbo'd EK4 which he claims can handle up to 800bhp. He's getting them from some rally specialist supplier in the UK...i'll find out the name and post it up (or a link)

Yea, but at what cost and how much weight is he actually saving. Most of the weight is in the joints.

Stronger joints>lighter small piece of metal.

Stock axles should work fine. Many people making a lot of horsepower and running stock axles. If you want to upgrade look into DSS axles.

Yeah, no drive shafts for a FWD car.

Get some Autozone axles. Some get the remanufactored axles, but several have had them go bad within a few hundred miles, so I just go for the new axles. They're $99/axle, which is only $20 more than reman'ed ones. Plus, they've got a lifetime warranty.
