i can't find one. i'm told i need one for an S2000. can anyone confirm?? here is my collector:




i need to put this thing on and can't find a donut. should a muffler shop carry what i need? i don't want to drive down.. open header.. just to be told they can't bolt up the exhaust.

 

the muffler shop in my town has them hanging froma wall. in all shapes and sizes.

I would try the muffler shop

 

What header is it? JDM 4-1? If that's the case it's a 2.5" collector and you'll need that size donut gasket.

 

i have a DC sport JDM Type R style header with a 2.5" collector, and yes the OEM S2000 gasket works... its about $40 from the dealer...

Assuming it's a jdm itr or aftermarket 2.5" out header.

40 bucks might be the price Honda lists for the gasket. Len should be able to get them for 18-20 bucks...

 

Also the honda 02-05 crv doughnut gasket works. Same size but cheaper since it isnt for the s2k. But local muffler shops also have them.

 

thanks, guys. i was just wondering because this does not have the same "cone shaped" flange that i'm used to. when i saw it was squared off and machined, i was worried i'd need something special. thanks again, guys! and yes. as the thread title implies, it's a JDM ITR header

 

Here in europe you can get a Bosal gasket originally designed for the Peugeot 406 Coupe 3.0 V6 or $5...it what i have on my 5zigen 4-2-1.
