wat header is better, both are stainless steel, and wat is better 4-2-1 or 4-1, pro's / con's. feel free to comment, suggest ect..... thanks.

 

OBX is junk. Get the Megan.

Too put it simply, my bro got an OBX header, gasket blew in like a week.

 

let me make it simple for you, both brands are junk . A decent header to pick up would be dc sports.

mine did too, so i went with dc, did the gasket between the head and the header blow or the second 1 were they connect? my gasket were they connect blew

dont buy either of em, spend a lil more a get a better 1

 

megan is better then the other unknown brand in ever heard of in my life. 4-1 is high end 4-2-1 is for torque. i assume your integra has torque so i would stick with 4-1 for top end.

don't buy knockoffs. When it comes to cars you get what you pay for.

 

ok megan and obx are both cheap headers. you get what you pay for. i bought an R1 header off ebay a few yrs ago and it is now rusted to hell. i took it off and threw it out over the weekend and replaced it with an oem type r exhaust manifold. you get what you pay for. i suggest not going cheap with a header. purchase a decent brand and actually get some hp gains and a header that will last a long time.

as far as 4-2-1 and 4-1:
4-2-1 is better for the ls/gs/rs/se models since it gives better low end power.
4-1 is better for the gs-r/type r since it gives better high end power.

I don't think Megan is that bad. I haven't heard of their **** going wrong yet. OBX is **** though

I had a DC-sports and it was really good quality and fitment.

I had megan racing guages, and they were also great quality. I cant say anything about there headers though. I think there a good company though.

megan is better imo


from the welds to the primarys its all better

stupid dc are thin small cracks

 

all 3 companies mentioned suck. save a couple more hundred and buy a rage,spark,rmf,etc. etc. or if u want a cheap alternative thtas better than dc,megan, and obx, get the jdm itr, but for the price u would pay for a jdm itr header u could save a couple more hudred and buy a header thats gonna make real power.

 

good headers like what? i say just hit up ebay, get ihe and rock out with yo **** out and then see your car fall apart

 

so what brands are good, all you guys are doing is bashing brands but not suggesting any thing, so if you have a header in your car right now and its been there a while, than go ahead and comment if you dont meet the criteria that i just mentioned dont bother commenting!

 

My vote is for DC sports, Mugen or JDM ITR header

No, no...Megan is not an imitation of Mugen. Their products dont even resemble Mugen parts.

the USDM DC header are JUNK. i think the $370 spent on them is a big waste of $$$. there are many dyno charts that shows that the DC make close to nothing whp gains over stock header. i personally own a DC 4-1 header and i only SLIGHTLY felt a difference

 

dc is nothing but garbage. and yes i've installed plenty of them. my personal header had to be re-welded and coated because of multiple leaks.

obx for the price is decent for their ss, the megan is a better build. and who ever said save a few hundred more and buy a rmf doesnt know prices. a top shelf header is around what? 800/900$? way more then the 150$ megan.

 

if dc, megan, and obx are all junk... then what brand is good?
