Default Tech Question::

just wonderin if anyone knowhs wherher a 95-97 or 5th gen accord EX/V6 Automatic rear motor mount will fit on a 4th gen. it was brought to my attention from a friend that the mount on those cars with automatic are hydrolic mounts. if so, i was considering putting one of those in for my stock accord mount. from what i was told the rear mount on the v6 auto trannies is hydo. and it mush beefier than the manual tranny mounts. supposedly the mount stiffens when there is more torque. anyone give some more info??

i doubt it would fit on there due to the hydralics it uses...but you can do anything if you go custom...sounds expensive!

hey, i have a 5th gen accord EX, would the 4th gen prelude or 5th gen LX/DX accord rear mount bolt right up? Is there a particular reason why the 5th gen EX had a diff rear motor mount?

My car has liquid filled mounts at every point and I can move my motor with one hand back and forth. I wish I could find solid mounts for the car it would be so much better.
