How do you reset the oil monitor?
I am new to this group and joined to start getting help with questions. I have an 06 Honda Civic EX coupe with automatic trans. Just took it to the mountains and got an average of 39.25 going there, driving around, and coming back. Anyway 3
questions:
1) How do you reset the oil moniter? I see that if you hold the button down where your reset your odometer, that you can make the value blink, but I could not figure out how to reset it.
2) Want to switch to synthetic oil - thoughts on how soon that can be done. I have about 1300 miles on her.
3) Air filter recommendations - I would like to change the stock one, to get better mileage and little better performance.
Thanks for the help.

I have always believed in doing the first oil change a little after 1000 miles are posted, to clean out stuff those first 1000 miles or so. Just wondering if there would be any problem to going to the synth then. I wanted to get some opinions on this. Thank,
