Best/Easiest is to remove kick panel, remove door panel, remove speaker, and use a coat hanger or other stiff wire as a fishtape. Reach through speaker hole, shove wire/fishtape through boot in door jamb and attach wire to one end. Pull through.
Firewall should have a grommet below the battery tray. Is it manual or auto?

Its not that hard. Use the same rod to run the power wire. Tip. When you go to push the wire thru the fire wall push it towards the floor of the car. It will pop out under the padding.
did u guys go through the molex plug ?
I had to drill a hole through that to get my wires through, I have to redo one door as it doesn't click shut and causes thre power windows to come in and out

If the car has power locks and windows, expletive the molex plug.
I try to avoid running speaker wire through the door at any cost. You can get some Q forms. You can use the stock wiring. If absolutely necessary, I first try to get my special drill bit in the door. It's a unibit on a long extension. I rarely use it but sometimes it's a ******* lifesaver. Then I pop in a grommet and it's ******* gorgeous. I've done what these guys have suggested. I've also taken off the dam doors and drilled the holes that way.
Be careful running that power wire for the amp. Use a grommet. I just installed a stereo for a guy at work today. It was a theft recovery. We didn't install his sub so I couldn't R&R it w/out charging him. His power wire was grounded out. There's no excuse for that.
