JDM DC5 Type-R @ Hmotorsonline?
Anyboby know anything about these 2 JDM DC5 R's for sale at hmotorsonline?
I recently sold my 96'spec ITR and ever since have been fighting the itch to get another one. I thought I could hold out and resist another R ...until I saw this...

...missing a few bits n' peices here and there but looks to be in overall good condition, and only $18K(2004 w/12,000 kilometers). For that price I'm guessing it's un-registered.
I haven't been able to call-in yet, but if anyone has any info on these two JDM DC5 R's, please share

The only thing that would suck about a RHD car is shifting with one's left hand. It would be so gimpy!
I'd get some kind of sequential 'box made for it.

To me it felt quite natural, and was able to adjust very easily but I'm also a lefty lol

I have seen the car in person. I really want it but I can not deal with driving on the wrong side and regestering the car. If it would have been left hand drive I would probably pull equity out of my house for it
nice, what did the guy in washington want for his registerd blue dc5 type r like 28000? so ten grand less just becaus it isnt registerd is a deal
thats less than a 04 type s with the same about of miles would cost

It's like riding a bicycle. It takes 15 minutes to learn and you never forget how to do it after. It's harder to remember the turn signal stalk is on the other side, than to shift properly.

what all do you have to go through to get it registered? My dad has a RHD subaru I don't think he had much of a hassle..though I guess a type-r would be a little different since its not a crappy wagon for a mail route? hah.
I didnt know you sold your car. Congratulations on the sale, I inquired about it one time, but I wasnt able to come up with the dough. If you do get that DC5, then I will congratulate you on outdoing yourself 10X!

HMO are busy people. Best thing if you are local is to go to their place. I've seen one of the RHD DC5's there before....it's damn clean. Interior and exterior.
Just keep trying to call....they'll pick up the call when they get the chance. It's hard getting ahold of steve, but for me, i just go in. Usually he's very busy, but he does what he can to take care of his customers.
